Good morning everyone!

I've been a little quiet..I think because I don't want to talk too much about the show and the other stuff going on just kind of pales in comparison.  Weight has stayed the same which is not a surprise...I would probably be losing if I was still doing boxing, but my membership expired in July and now time is being eaten up elsewhere.  I decided after the tv taping that I wanted to try out dog grooming and so I registered for online and practical classes at the Nash Academy.  Right now I'm getting through the online and that's taking some of my gym time.  So I wanted to hold off on boxing and just keep with Curves which = less intense, shorter workouts.  On the positive side, the classes are great!  Even if I never do it professionally, I'm learning so much about my favorite little guys which is really a great tool for trying to understand them better.  I had gotten down to 195 or so right after the taping was over ...mostly because that week I was subsisting on caffeine and cookies and running around all over Manhattan.  Not necessarily a diet style I want to endorse   Immediately after getting into my solid habit, the scale creeped up to 199 and so I'm hovering in a 2 lb zone which is great!  Lord knows I don't want to size out of all the clothes I just got!!!

Work is work.  Lots of changes happening and lots of unknown.  I'm trying out new hats within the company as I really want to make my 5 year pension vestment mark.  After that I am definitely open to other possibilities...it's exciting times!!  Chaz and I have some plan b's which possibly include a big move and completely different quality of life which is the goal.  Our time line is flexible because we don't have to worry about kids so it's just a matter of when it feels right we're doing it!  Chaz has a new job of which I'm incredibly thankful for and thrilled about.  He seems content and he's treated well and that is ALL I care about.  There is nothing worse than working in a place where people are just either completely over it, or downright poor co workers because they can't find a way to pull their own head from their asshole.  Chaz jokes that he is mercenary but deep down he has a very strong work ethic, he wants to work hard and do a good job and be respected as a fellow human being.  And now thankfully I think he has that.  We could stay another 8 months or we could stay another 2 years...it's just nice to be that one step beyond the dreaming and really talking it out and working on a solid next step.

I'm so proud of myself for accomplishing some of the social goals I had set for myself with 2007.  I wanted to work on having some social outlets and I did!  I have my scrapbooking gals I meet up with regularly and I think I'm getting actually pretty good with some of my altered art!  I may add some pictures to the site as I am in the process of revamping how it all looks.  I want to consolidate everything and make the site a little more streamlined with links off the blog, but the blog being the main body of the site so to speak.  Speaking of social goals, I have also had a couple of meetups with mom this year and we seem to have matured into a decent little relationship..that makes me happy too as it's been a long road between her and I.  We both deserve to have a little better of a bond and now we're both mentally in a place to work on that.

Other news?  Not much to tell.  We had finished up the bathroom and now the middle room is almost done..just the floor needing some polyeurathane.  Next up will probably be painting our bedroom.  I'm happy with the way the bathroom came out..it's not perfect but so much nicer than what it was.  We stayed true to the style of the house and went with the black and white square floor tiles, a beautiful console sink to match the clawfoot tub etc..  The middle room I'm not so thrilled with in terms of the sheet rock job that was done in there..but again better than it was.

Finally I am just so blessed to be in a position where I have a happy home with a few that love me and the ability to work to make things happen!

This is so weird as I happened to watch the Tim Gunn episode last night and happened to be Googling WW today and found your site! WOW! I'm so impressed with you! I read every word on your site and have been so touched. I also did WW 3 years ago, lost 50 pounds, and got down to my high school weight and then sunk into depression when I couldn't get below 168. I really had my heart set on 150 always. Now, 4 weeks into it again and 3 years later, a voice in the back of my head says is 168 so bad?? You have confirmed that belief for me. WHO CARES?! I will be healthy, active, and HAPPY! :) Can't wait to see the show; I know I will probably cry as I bawled over the 1st episode (even though I couldn't relate as well to Rebecca).

I am SO happy for you. I check your site religiously and I'm thrilled that you and your parental unit are on better terms. I can totally relate to what a struggle that can be at times when there has been SO much bad water under that rickety bridge...

You are my heroine! Rock on, girlfriend! I sometimes dream of a simpler, less hectic career as a part-time hair stylist. Truth. Whether you decide to do dog-grooming or not, I'm delighted for you and your family!

Hi JeAnne, I know you don't know me but I've kept up on your Metamorphoses page for about 2-3 yrs now. I was watching Law and Order last night on Bravo when I saw your commerical for Tim Gunn's show! I was SO excited for you and even told my hubby your story and how I visit your page for a bit of inspiration now and then!!! I am SOOOO happy for you. For everything you've done you totally deserve this!!!

I will be tuning into your show and I can't wait to see your new fashionista looks :) Although I don't know you, it's like seeing an old friend get something she really deserves!!!
