Cait: JeAnne - I've been following your progress for 5 yrs and not long ago I saw your "Tim Gunn" episode & then last night I saw your "I Lost It" episode. I lost 100 lbs in 2003 & you were part of my inspiration. In the past year I've been struggling again, have gained back 30 lbs. I can't keep from compulsive overeating relying just on my WW & exercise & behavior mod tools. Losing the weight didn't end these problems. So I've joined OA online and finally have some hope & relief.

GRR ARGH!!!!!

  • Mood: Happy! Scared! Nervous! Excited!

  • Hunger scale: insert vomiting icon here...food? really?

Bah...I'm nervous!  It's like worse than performing!  At least with performing, it's live and you know it's over after that moment.  With tv it's like there, in your face...over and over ad infinitum   I think I'm having serious control issues.  I'm scared that because I had a mike on practically 24/7, they caught me saying something stupid like I want to be a zombie extra or I eat babies for breakfast or something.  Or that they edited it so that my women empowerment in any size comes off like fat = horrible!  skinny = fabulous! which is not me.  I guess the torment will soon be over...please be gentle with me on the commentary after you see it folks.  Like mom says, if you having nothing nice to say, just don't bother!

Anyway, t minus 6 hours!  Thanks so much to everyone who has read my story, followed my journey, helped to keep me going and shared parts of your struggles and successes with me.  It means so much to me to just keep on keeping on and knowing that others feel as importantly as I do that the success is in the journey as well as the destination.  We create our happy endings! We make it work!
